Ham

I have a 12 LB Ham that I want to cook in my SuperWave oven but I can't find any recipes. I know I'll have to add the extender ring but I'm wondering how many minutes per pound at what temperature I'll have to use. I bought a recipe book at Amazon but there is no recipe for just plain old ham. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

Re: Ham

You are cooking a partially cooked ham not a fully cooked ham, right? I don't have a recipe, but that wouldn't stop me from using the SuperWave. I would start out at an hour at 325°F then stop and check the internal temperature. If it's a large ham, you'll need more than an hour, but at least you can check your progress. Add cooking time as needed until you reach a minimum of 155° at the thickest part of the ham. (Carryover cooking after you let it "stand" will bring up the temperature to a safe 160°). Hope that helps.
