I'm on a culinary adventure to nourish myself and others with healthy unprocessed that are delish and nutritionally balanced. I look foward to contributing recipes with others, as I try new things weekly. I'm inspired by clean healthy foods that not only taste amazing, but nourish your body with goodness! Of course, not all of my recipes are "clean" and whole, sometimes I throw a little indulgence in there for good measure! My profile picture is a throw-back photo from around 6 years ago when I got the baking "bug" and baked my first pumpkin bread. Ever since then I've been on a mission to learn different ways of cooking and baking and learning nutrient values of different foods to create a well-balanced meal the body thrives on!
I find cooking and baking meditative and relaxing, I enjoy reading about food, cooking for others, and transforming not so healthy recipes into nourishing delights!
Cooking Influences
Clean Eating, Food you pick off a tree or the earth instead of a pre-packaged box! I love Thai, Indian, Italian, Japanese and Southern cooking. While I'm not vegan, I love to transform non-vegan baked goods into a vegan friendly version. It makes the food even that much better when compassionately cooked. I'm influenced also by the seasons using in season fruits and vegetables throughout the year.
