About me

I studied Nutrition Science and practiced as a registered dietitian for years. I have not worked in that capacity for about 12 years but did do some consulting . I became a dietitian because I enjoed cooking and wanted to make healthful foods to prevent those diseases that can be prevented by eating healthfully.

I have to admit that cooking for two growing boys is not as much fun. My kids are not always fond of my experiments as my husband and I are. I am looking forward to trying some new recipies here.
