About me

I am not a great cook by any means but have started on a journey to be healthier and explore and try new things. I am happily married and currently a stay at home of four beautiful children. I am trying to make better and more varied meals for my family. I am learning how fascinating and interesting cooking and trying new dishes can be as I want my children to be more well rounded. My heritage is Cuban/Italian as I am the first American generation for my family. Sadly, I have been limited to a pretty boring and basic cuisine as I only discovered macaroni and cheese and grilled cheese in my 20s as that was not one of our staples growing up. Hoping that through trial and error I can become a better cook and inspire my children to try new things and develop an appreciation for other cultures.
