About me
I've been married 30 years and have 2 grown sons. I don't love to cook, but I do cook often and everyone always likes it so I guess I'm not too bad at it. I generally prefer food that is easy to prepare, tasty and not full of fat. However, I get in my moods to cook or bake things that take a couple of hours to prepare. I've learned some pretty good tips and will share them as soon as I am able. I am really slow at getting things done as I am disabled so you will eventually get some good recipes but not as quickly as I'd like.
Cooking Influences
I grew up in North Louisiana where I learned to cook good ole' country food from my grandma. Then I moved down south, Buras, LA, and learned the best cooking in the world (Cajun of course) from my in-laws and my husband who, by the way, is THE best seafood cook on the planet. Anyway, even though I know how to cook, I learn more all the time and love to try new recipes.
