About me
I love to cook but it comes and goes with my kitchen and mood. Right now we are about to move to a new house, so I hope my desire to whip up great food will come back to me with gusto once we get settled in. I tend to not really follow recipes even when I am trying hard to do it. I will always add or substitute something. I use recipes mostly as starting points or for ideas except when I bake. My husband and kids tend to like what I whip up so I must not be too bad at experimenting with food. However, my husband will eat anything because his grandfather taught him well to not waste food and I have taught him that if I went through the effort to cook it, he better eat it! My kids are all boys so they will eat just about anything too, as long as I tell them that it will make their muscles big and strong like their daddy. My goal for cooking is to make good tasting and good for you food that my boys will rave about and expect and compare their one day wife's cooking to.
