Sweet and Sour CabbageI discovered cabbage later in life. This recipe makes for a sweet/sour cabbage that is good hot, at room temperature and right out of the fridge. Please visit my blog http://inhomegourmet.wordpress.com/2011/04/07/its-like-shopping-for-shoes/ on what I prepared with this cabbage. |

Apple Almond CakeThis is an updated recipe I found in a garage sale box. All the ingredients sounded great but 2 previous attempts left me wanting. On the third attempt I omitted some and added some. Tell me what you think. I’m not a big baker and struggle with the science of it. |

Stuffed Sweet PeppersUsually peppers are stuffed with ground meat or sausage and rice. I had some leftover polenta, bacon, prosciutto and a pint of heirloom cherry tomatoes so this receipe was born. |

Tomatillo and Chicken BurritoI purchased some green tomatillos and was going to make a tomatillo salsa but then it was dinner time and well, you all know how that goes. Here is spicy burrito that is quick and easy to make. If you're not into tomatillos you can omit them. I always use organic ingredients. |

Banana Mango SmoothieIf you can't do cow dairy try this smoothie. All ingrediants are organic. When you open the can of coconut milk dump the contents into a bowl and whisk well until combined. Make sure to use the remainder milk the next day or throw it out. |

Easy Roasted ChickenRoasted Chicken is my favorite Sunday dinner but it’s so easy it works on any night. Yummy Crispy skin with super moist meat. It just doesn’t get better than that. |
