About me
loved food since i was old enough to understand to feed myself, my father was the instigator for me to do a cooking trade, which i did only to keep him happy. but in the end i loved it all, it was just finding the time to cook the way i want to eat. as years on progressed. i am happily married kids and a gorgeous hubby, , it is a bit hard with fussy kids and a hubby who will only eat calabrese italian food. With a trip to italy to embrace my husbands heritage and to meet my beloved new family, i felt at home.
my cooking changed again, with new inspiration and new my tastbuds buzzing. I have broadend my menu to suit. i've also infused my italian cooking with my maltese cooking, which seems to be a hit.
and also if they eat it and say nothing, it's good. happy tummy's means happy mummy.
Cooking Influences
i have a large european background to help. my mothers side is maltese so i learn lots of old family secrets from my mum, aunties and nunna.
my mother inlaw is a beautiful italian lady living in calabria. she has shown me great tasty dishes that will stay with me for life.
