About me
I am a daughter, mother, and Nanna; I am the everything in my family because our tree only has 2 braches - my Mom, and my daughter. I am the trunk that holds it all together. I have been having some health issues for the past 2 years, and recently learned that I have AML. I have faith it is a battle that I can win. I enjoy food and the comfort that comes with it, and the fact that it always brings people together.
Cooking Influences
I was a cook in the Army, and just enjoy preparing food for others to enjoy. I guess my Mom would be my biggest influence, she is German and has taught me all the traditional German dishes of her childhood, however I can't bake the way that she does. I wish I could, and I am working on it, but baking just doesn't seem to be my thing :(
