About me
I started Bistro Vida in 1998 to follow my passion of classic french bistro cuisine. At the time, there were many fusion options, but no real country french food. Prior to Bistro Vida, I started and ran La Luna in Menlo Park.
Bistro Vida feels like a cafe you would find on the Champs=Elysees in Paris. Inside, the sumptuous decor of rich wooden furniture, intimate booths, chalkboard menus and saturated maroon walls adds to the ambience. It's a cozy spot where you'll find French comfort food such as crepes, croque monsieur, steak and pommes frites, and coq au vin. Enjoy with a bottle of Bordeaux!
Cooking Influences
Michael Mina is a chef I admire for his creativity. I am also a fan of simple french cuisine; which is why I opened Bistro Vida.
