  • 1 pound white or possibly yellow turnips
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 4 tbsp. flour
  • 4 tbsp. fat
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Pare the turnips, cut them in cubes, cook till tender. Make a white sauce of the flour, fat, lowfat milk and seasonings. Pour sauce over turnip cubes and serve.
