Ingredients
- 300 grams of Elbow Macaroni (del monte), cooked
- 6 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 1 pc of large onion, sliced
- 1 pouch of Del Monte Filipino Style Spaghetti Sauce (250g)
- 1 can of tuna chunks in oil (184g)
- 1/2 cup of coarsely grated quickmelt cheese
- White sauce:
- 2 tbsp of all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup of evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1 tbsp of margarine

Tuna Pasta Melt
Time: 15 minutes prep, 20-30 minutes cook
Servings: 6 Servings
Directions
- White Sauce: Mix all ingredients well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook over low heat with constant stirring for 3-5 minutes or until thick. Set aside.
- Saute garlic in tuna oil until brown. Add onion and cook for 1 minute. Add Del Monte Spaghetti Sauce, 1/4 cup of water, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add tuna chunks then blend spaghetti-tuna sauce with cooked elbow macaroni.
- Arrange in a pan. Pour white sauce on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. If desired, bake until cheese melts.
