This is one of my favorite summer drinks because it’s easy to make, and it’s great when it’s hot outside – I love a fruity summer cocktail, and this one tops the list. What’s in a Tequila Sunrise? This is a really pretty drink made with grenadine, tequila and orange juice. The drink is layered, so it looks like a sunrise which is how it got its name. The recipe I’m sharing is for a classic tequila sunrise! If you like tequila drinks, this is a must-make – add some chips, salsa, and guacamole for a fun at-home happy hour! Ingredients Ice cubes2 ounces tequila4 ounces orange juice½ ounce grenadineOrange slices and maraschino cherries for garnish Products Needed High ball glassCocktail stirrer How to Make a Tequila Sunrise Fill the glass with ice cubes. Add the tequila, orange juice, and stir to combine. To create the layered look, slow pour the grenadine around the inside edge of the glass.
