Tagliatelle Alfredo With Lobster

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. Margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. Light Cream Cheese or possibly fatfree
  • 1 1/3 c. Skim Lowfat milk
  • 2 x Cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1 1/4 c. Fatfree Parmesan Cheese finely grated
  • 1 Tbsp. Flour
  • 8 ounce Louis Kemp Lobster Delights imitation lobster
  •     Tagliatelle fresh cooked

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, heat margarine, saute/fry garlic til fragrant over medium heat.
  2. Stir in flour. Gradually blend in lowfat milk while stirring with a wire wisk.
  3. Stir constantly over medium heat till thick and bubbly, about 8 min.
  4. Stir in cream cheese, heat two min, stirring constantly. Gradually add1 c. of parmesan, stir till fully melted. Add in the lobster and allow meatto heat through. Toss with the cooked pasta. Top with remaining parmesan.
  5. Serves four.
  6. Comments:I made this last night. It was as good as any alfredo dish I've ever had.
  7. I used butter instead of margarine (I do not believe in margarine), and backed off the grated parmesan a little (1 c. total used). I also used linguini instead of Tagliatelle (I couldn't find Tagliatelle w/o added egg yolks). This is an excellent dish. Highest recommendation.

  9. the recipe! It is excellent btw, and these are the numbers w/o modification. The recipe has already been modified to reduce fat with out comprimising flavor.
