Ingredients

  • 1Serving-5-7 dumpling.Half cup-100%Buckwheat flour.Cup and 1/3-Water.

Directions

  1. Put Soba flour in a pan then pour the water in.Stir till all mixed in good.Heat the mixture till start boiling reduce the heat to minimum keep scratch pan bottom-This is the origin of the name...Gaki in Japanese Verb Kaku-Scratch. Keep Stir up the mixture till soft but not solid mush.Do it just like cooking Corn Palenta cereal.

As it is..This is bland mush.You may enjoy soy sauce and plus or sweet Red bean pour on the top and such.You may take this mixture to pan cake like treatment !This should be a endless variations to enjoy it.I like Fresh Daikon carrot mixure with this tasty dumpling.We call it-Momiji orosi-Grated White radish\carrot mix.
