Salisbury Steak With Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (4 ounce.) can sliced mushrooms, liquid removed (reserve liquid)
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 2 teaspoon instant beef bouillon or possibly 2 beef cubes

Salisbury Steak With Mushroom Sauce

Directions

  1. Mix meat, salt and pepper; shape mix into patties. In a skillet, cook patties over medium heat, turning occasionally, till done, 8 to 12 min. Remove patties to hot place.
  2. Cook and stir mushrooms in same skillet till light brown. Stir in flour. Cook over low heat stirring till mix is bubbly. Remove from heat. Add in sufficient water to reserved mushroom liquid to measure 1 c.. Stir liquid and bouillon into flour mix. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Pour on meat. 4 servings.
