Salad Dressing Cake From Scratch

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1 c. salad dressing (Kraft Miracle Whip)
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 tbsp. vanilla

Directions

  1. Mix well with wooden spoon. Bake in greased 9x13 inch pan at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 min. Cold 10 min.
  2. NOTE: For good flavor, 2 Tbsp. vanilla are needed. Directions given for the mix cake are to completely cold cake before frosting. The scratch cakes were cooled no more than 10 min before frosting unless Seven Minute Icing is used.
