Refrigerator Pickles

Ingredients

  • 8 cups Sliced Cucumbers (as thick or thin as you like)
  • 2 cups Sliced Onions
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Celery Seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Canning Salt

Refrigerator Pickles

Time: 3 days prep
 
 

Directions

  1. Mix together cucumbers and onions.
  2. Bring other mixture to a boil and cool.
  3. Pour over cucumbers and onions.
  4. Stir every once in awhile and they will be ready to eat in 3 days. Keep refrigerated.
  5. You can double this recipe and it will fit in an ice cream bucket (16 cups).

    no they are not quite dill but definitely NOT sweet as in bread and butter pickles....just a big tangy....but sooo good!! :)
