Pineapple Marshmallow Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 1/2 ounce.) can crushed pineapple
  • 3 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 c. Cold Whip
  • 3 sliced bananas
  • 1 to 2 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 1 to 2 c. grapes, oranges or possibly cherries

Directions

  1. Drain pineapple well, saving juice. Beat egg in small pan and add in cornstarch, sugar, salt and pineapple juice plus sufficient water to make 1 c. liquid. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring till thick. Cold and add in reserved crushed pineapple, bananas, marshmallows and other fruit if you like. Mix in Cold Whip and chill.
