Perfect Crock Pot Beef Roast Recipe
I have been making this recipe for Beef Roast and Veggies for a very long time. When I was a single mom, working full-time, this was one of my go to recipes~ Back then, I was the Queen of the Crock Pot! Many of my kids favorite "crock-pot suppers" were made with ingredients I had on hand. I would toss everything in the crock pot, turn it on and went to work. When I got home, supper was ready:)
- 3 lb. Beef Sirloin Roast
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- fresh cracked pepper
- 4-6 carrots, washed and peeled
- 2 large cloves garlic
- 20 pearl onions
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 3 pieces
- 2-4 large baking potatoes, peeled
- ~Sirloin Tip Roast~
- ~Place beef roast in bottom of crock-pot~
- ~Sprinkle onion soup mix over roast~
- ~Add peeled carrots~
- ~Top with cream of mushroom soup~
- ~Sprinkle with fresh cracked pepper~
- ~ Add peeled whole garlic cloves~
- ~Add as many pearl onions as you like~
- ~We love these little pearl onions~
- ~I bought a 5 lb bag of pearl onions at the farmers market for $1.50~
- ~2 large sweet potatoes~
- ~ Peel and cut sweet potatoes in thirds~
- ~Place in crock-pot~
- ~ Add peeled, whole baking potatoes~
- ~Place cover on Crock-pot, cook on low 6-8 hrs~
- ~ After 6-8 hours on low~
- ~The beef roast and veggies are fork tender~
- ~The onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup and beef juices~
~Make a delicious sauce or gravy during cooking~
~A Delicious Crock-pot Dinner~
