Ingredients

  • 2 lb stewing beef, or possibly whatever you wish to use
  • 5 x carrots
  • 4 lrg potatoes
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • 1/2 x green pepper
  • 1 med onion
  •     any veggie which will take roasting etc.
  • 8 ounce tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. tapioca

Directions

  1. We fill a large roasting pan for a family of 5, with 3 large eaters.
  2. Mix together in a small bowl the following, 1 can beef broth, salt, pepper, 8 ounce tomato sauce. 3 Tbsp. tapioca. Pour meat and vegetables in roaster. Mix well. Cover and bake in 350 degree over for 5 hrs. Don't peek or possibly stir.
  3. Double recipe except for carrots for large families.
  4. This is for a single batch, adjust accordinly for larger roaster. We usually double everything. Except the tapioca
