  1. Melt the margarine in steam jacketed or other large kettle.
  2. Add onion and green pepper and saute until tender.
  3. Add flour and seasonings. Stir until blended.
  4. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.
  5. Add stock and stir until smooth.
  6. Cook until mixture begins to thicken.
  7. Add ham, potatoes, and corn. Heat to 180F.
  8. Add milk and mix well. Heat to 180 F.
  9. Sprinkle parsley over chowder before serving.
