"Everything but the Kitchen Sink" Chip Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 envelope of Lipton Golden Onion Soup Mix (Not the regular onion soup mix)
  • 16 oz. Sour Cream
  • 1 small can of sliced black olives, drained
  • 3 roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1/2 jar pickled jalepeno slices, drained (more or less to taste)
  • 1/2 bell pepper, seeded and diced (I prefer red or orange)
  • 10 green olives, sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Directions

  1. Mix golden onion soup mix and sour cream together. Fold in other ingredients gently. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving with tortilla chips.

I got this recipe from a co-worker about 20 years ago and have tweaked it to my taste. I always serve this with tortilla chips or Fritos.

I love the Lipton Golden Onion for this, because it has a chicken base instead of beef. The chicken flavor tastes great with corn chips.

The best part about this dip is you can add extra of the ingredients you love or leave out any of the ingredients you don't like. It's a great chunky veggie dip with chips.
