Deer (Beef) Stew Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 pound beef roast or possibly venison roast
  • 3 cans mushroom soup
  • 4 potatoes (quartered)
  • 6 carrots (1 inch size)
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 1 onion (sliced)

Directions

  1. Brown roast on both sides in shortening. In crock pot put 1 can mushroom soup. Add in potatoes, carrots, celery. Add in another can of soup. Place roast on top and cover with onion. Add in another can of soup. cover. Let cook overnight on low heat, or possibly 8 hrs on low heat.
  2. Amount of potatoes, carrots and celery depends on size of pot and family. Delicious and easy.
