Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. stew meat, cubed
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 2 onions, minced
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Directions

  1. Place meat in crock pot. Mix flour, salt, and pepper. Pour over meat. Stir to coat meat with flour. Add in remaining ingredients and stir to mix well. Cover and cook on low 10-12 hrs. (High 4-6 hrs.) Stir stew thoroughly before serving.
