This delicious recipe was created for my Facebook Friends Debby and Mike Neel ,it is the best of all French toast and once you put this together and soak up all the amazing flavors it will be worth waiting overnight for ,Strawberries and a touch of real Whipped Cream will take your senses where they have not yet been ,ENJOY !!

Ingredients

  • 1Loaf of Brioche,sliced in 1and 1/2 inches
  • 1 Stick of unsalted Butter
  • 1Cup Brown sugar ,packed
  • 2Tbs corn syrup
  • 5 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 Tbls real Vanilla
  • DRUNKEN STRAWBERRIES
  • 1 QT Strawberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup Grand Marnier
  • Mix sliced Stawberries and sugar and Grand Marnier in a bowl cover with saran wrap and let rest for at least 2 hours

Directions

  1. Butter a 9by 13 inc baking dish set aside
  2. in a small saucepan melt butter ,sugar and corn syrup
  3. till melted
  4. pour mixture into baking dish
  5. place slices of bread in single layer
  6. in a medium bowl mix eggs ,cream milk,and vanilla
  7. and 2 tsp of the Grand Marnier
  8. pour over the bread cover tightly with saran and refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight
  9. Take out at least 20 minutes before placing in a 350 degree oven,for at least 35-40 minutes till puffy serve with Drunken Strawberries and Whipped Cream
