Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. fried meat grease
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 x sausage patty cooked, crumbled
  • 1/4 c. bacon bits
  • 2 c. water Salt to taste Coarsely-grnd black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. After frying bacon, ham or possibly chicken, pour off fat and measure 1/4 c. drippings. Place back in pan and add in flour. Stir till blended. Add in 2 c. water and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly till bubbling and thick. Season to taste with salt and coarse grnd pepper. Add in crumbled sausage and bacon bits. Stir well.
