Ingredients

  • 2 (6 ounce) cans crab meat or possibly 1 pound frzn crab meat
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1 med. green pepper, diced
  • 1 med. onion, diced
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 pcs bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

  1. Drain and cut crab meat into chunks. Dice half of bread; put into buttered large casserole. Mix crab, veggies, mayonnaise. Spread over bread. Add in remaining bread. Mix large eggs and lowfat milk. Pour over mix. Chill, covered, several hrs. Bake 15 min at 350 degrees. Add in undiluted soup and cheese. Bake 60 min more. Serves 8 to 10. NOTE: Casserole expands. Be sure to use large casserole.
