  • 500 g cod fillet,cut in to shanks
  • 1 tbso olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 spring onion,finely chopped
  • 1 tomato,chopped
  • 3 green chillies,finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut,grated
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1/4 tsp jeera
  • 2 small onion

Coconut Fish Curry

Time: 10 minutes prep, 20 minutes cook
 
 

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a pan.Add the cumin seeds and when sizzling add in the onion and fry till golden.Lower the flame.Add the tomatoes,green chilli,turmeric and chilli powder.Season and stir well.In a mixer grind the grated coconut,garlic,jeera and small onion to a fine paste.Add this paste to tha pan.Add a sprinkle of garam masala also.Heat gently for 5 min.Now add the cleaned fish chunks.Make sure the sauce covers the fish.Cover with a lid and cook for 15 min on a low flame.Serve with rice.
