Ingredients

  • 8 chicken cutlets
  • 3/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs (or possibly more)
  • 2/3 - 1 c. white wine
  • Oil for sauteing

Chicken Strips In Wine Sauce

Directions

  1. Cut chicken cutlets into strips approximately 3x1 inch. Roll strips in bread crumbs and quickly saute/fry in warm oil on each side till golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Transfer strips to shallow baking dish and add in wine so which bottom is liberally covered. (Strips don't have to be totally immersed in wine.) Bake covered with foil for 30 min. (Can be frzn, thawed and rebaked 30 min in oven or possibly in frying pan.) Serves 8.
