Ingredients

  • 3 can sliced carrots, liquid removed well
  • 3 x apples peeled and either sliced or possibly diced (I leave them fairly thick)
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/2 c. orange juice

Directions

  1. Mix the carrots and apples in a casserole dish. Combine the sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the top of the carrot/apple mix. Dot the top with the butter. Pour orange juice over the top, bake 350: for about 45 min to 1 hour or possibly till the apples are tender.
