Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1-2 # beef *steak is good*
  • 1 medium shallot
  • 4-6 Tblspn All purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 Cup double strength beef broth *double strength = twice as much powder/bullion per cup*
  • 1 tspn prepared mustard *powdered*
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup white wine *I used a blush*
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1-2 Tblspn Mediterranean Spiced Sea Salt *McCormicks*

Beef Stroganoff

Time: 10 minutes prep, 8 hours cook
Servings: 4 servings
 

Directions

  1. Slice the meat into thin slices. Put into crock pot and coat with flour. Add the salt, pepper and Mediterranean spiced sea salt. Add the shallots, beef broth and wine. Mix it all together thoroughly.
  2. Cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 4 hours. Stirring every hour or so to make sure the meat cooks evenly.
