Beef Biscuit Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 cans refrigerated biscuits (buttermilk or possibly country style)
  • 1 block of any kind of cheese, grated
  • 1 green pepper, minced
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 or possibly 3 lb of hamburger
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 c. of lowfat sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • Garlic pwdr

Directions

  1. Brown hamburger, pepper, onion. Cook till brown, drain. Return hamburger to skillet. Add in 2 cans of tomato sauce, 2 tbsp garlic pwdr. Simmer for 10 min. Add in 1 egg slightly beaten, 1 cup lowfat sour cream and half of grated cheese. Add in mix to hamburger, mix thoroughly. Remove from stove.In 13 x 9 inch pan use 1 1/2 cans of biscuits pulling each biscuit in two part and line bottom of pan evenly. Pour hamburger mix over biscuits. Line top of mix with other 1 1/2 cans of biscuits, same as before. Sprinkle remaining grated cheese on top of biscuits. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 min till brown.
