Ingredients

  • 2 lb Hamburger
  • 1 lrg Onion, minced
  • 1 pkt (16-oz) frzn mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (26-oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 2 c. Bisquick or possibly other baking mix (I used homemade mix)
  • 1 tsp Garlic pwdr

Directions

  1. Fry hamburger and minced onion together; drain and put mix in an ungreased 9x13 inch baking pan. In a separate bowl, put the frzn mixed vegetables, garlic pwdr, cream of chicken soup and 1 c. of the lowfat milk. Mix well and pour over the hamburger-onion mix. Mix together the Bisquick and remaining 1 1/2 c. of lowfat milk (will be thin). Pour over the mix in the pan. Bake at 450 degrees till crust is golden. (It took about 40 min for me, but ovens vary).
  2. You could use diced chicken, turkey, or possibly ham, or possibly tuna instead of the grnd beef.
