Apple and Walnut Cake

Ingredients

  • 100gr butter
  • 100gr of sugar cane
  • 3 tablespoons rum
  • 3 pinches of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 230g all purpose flour
  • 75g choped walnuts
  • 1 tbs of baking powder
  • 2 apples (or 2 bananas) into small cubes
  • water if the dough is too hard

Apple and Walnut Cake

Time: 20 minutes prep, 45 minutes cook
Servings: 24 cm
 

Directions

  1. Beat the butter with sugar and then add rum, cinnamon and salt.
  2. Add the eggs and beat.
  3. Add the flour, the walnuts and the baking powder and then the apples
  4. Transfer the mixture into a buttered and floured 10in cake pan and bake in the preheated oven at 180 °C for 45 minutes about.
  5. Let cool.
  6. Sprinkle with icing sugar.
