Ingredients
- 100gr butter
- 100gr of sugar cane
- 3 tablespoons rum
- 3 pinches of cinnamon
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 eggs
- 230g all purpose flour
- 75g choped walnuts
- 1 tbs of baking powder
- 2 apples (or 2 bananas) into small cubes
- water if the dough is too hard

Apple and Walnut Cake
Time: 20 minutes prep, 45 minutes cook
Servings: 24 cm
Directions
- Beat the butter with sugar and then add rum, cinnamon and salt.
- Add the eggs and beat.
- Add the flour, the walnuts and the baking powder and then the apples
- Transfer the mixture into a buttered and floured 10in cake pan and bake in the preheated oven at 180 °C for 45 minutes about.
- Let cool.
- Sprinkle with icing sugar.
