About me
I am a professional bartender with 18 years of high-volume nightlife and fine dining restaurant experience in Washington DC. I have bartended, managed and opened a small handful of some of the top power spots in DC including Cafe Milano, Mie N Yu, Blue Gin, Felix the Spy Lounge, and Smith & Wollensky's.
I attended St. Mary's College of Maryland, where I was a team captain of the Men's Soccer team, a position that lead to a successful playing career at the semi professional level.
I have been recognized both locally and nationally for work in nightlife including by Nightclub & Bar Magazine, Washingtonian Magazine, DC Modern Luxury, PlumTV-Hamptons, and Travel Channel’s Samantha Brown Passport to Great Weekend’s.
Most recently, I created and placed a gastro-cocktail program at the red hot Hudson Restaurant and Lounge in Downtown DC and was featured in Capital File magazine for my work as bar manager there. I also helped create recipes for Patrón tequila for their Music in Motion fundraising program to benefit local charities in New Orleans. Check out what they're doing at www.musicinmotiontour.com.
I currently work for BarMagic of Las Vegas developing concepts and beverage programs for resorts, casinos, hotels, nightclubs, restaurants and bars around the world.
